Off to Rwanda!

We are on our way to Rwanda! Please pray!

We will be conducting pastoral training from about 9 to 5 each day. We will also be responsible for group devotions in the morning, preaching on Sunday, and evening programs each night. Please pray for our creativity, our ability to connect well with the group, and for the message to be clear in spite of cultural differences and translation.

We have not yet seen the schedule for the rest of our team (friends from West Virginia and their teenagers; Bob's teenage sons; and Joni's teenage daughters), but we expect it to be busy. They will be doing some preaching, evangelism, classroom visits, sports outreaches, and lifeskills training. Some of them will work in the medical clinic or in construction. Please pray for their safety, their ability to flex with whatever they are asked to do, their endurance, their clarity of communication, their relationships with one another, and their ability to model gracious love.
